What We Offer
We hope that these webpages will be a welcome source of information and support for those engaged in spiritual accompaniment and pastoral supervision.
In addition to our ‘Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment’ formation course, we also offer:
- Rooms in which to meet with Directees
- Regular supervision in closed groups, peer groups or one-to-one supervision
- Various opportunities for ongoing support, training and formation
We also manage referrals for people seeking spiritual accompaniment, and we expect all those who offer accompaniment through St Antony’s to:
- Have completed appropriate training, including up to date safeguarding
- Adhere to the Retreat Association guidelines
- Have their own Spiritual Director
- Attend supervision regularly
- Complete an annual update form
All our Spiritual Directors are also very welcome to come to St Antony’s for personal quiet days, and to join us in chapel for worship.
If you wish to book a meeting room for spiritual accompaniment, please contact the office.
Is there a cost for membership or attendance at Network events?
We do not levy any charges for membership of the Spiritual Accompaniment Network, as we do not wish anyone to be excluded from this ministry on financial grounds.
However, we do invite donations for the ongoing work of the Priory and for attendance at Quiet Mornings and Ongoing Formation.
There are Gift-Aid envelopes and a donation box for this purpose just inside the front door. There is further information about how to make online payments and support the work of the Priory here.
