Information & Resources for Spiritual Directors

Supervision Groups

We believe that supervision is one of the most important resources available to spiritual directors once they have completed their initial formation course. A place to explore our practice, bring our concerns, check in, and ask questions about boundaries and safeguarding.  Supervision, especially in a group, is where we can learn from other spiritual directors, both new and those with more experience.

While we do not specify where and how members of our Network access supervision, we expect active members of the Network, i.e. those to whom we refer directees, to be in regular, meaningful supervision. What regular supervision means will vary depending on the number of people each of us accompanies.
